Big thanks to all those that turned up and helped out today. With it being Easter weekend we didn't expect a big turnout or to get much done but the guys worked like troopers and got through more hardcore than we would have thought possible.

This weekend the world cup comes to Dalby and the trails will be busy with seasoned pro's all racing for first place in the UCI World Cup. On any other weekend the place is a mecca for riding with miles of singletrack open to riders of all levels of experience. One of the benefits of SingletrAction membership is the Dalby pass giving free access through the forest toll - these are sent out to all SingletrAction members on completion of two dig days. So not only do you help make some great trails, you also get to ride them as well.

Those nice folk over at Anthill Films have let us have 2 pairs of tickets to the Follow Me Mountain Bike Film Tour of UK and Ireland (one pair for Leeds and the other for Sheffield). Nice and easy this one. And a lot less back breaking than digging. Follow this link to Singletrackworld.com forum, follow the simple instructions and help make a great Lake District route fully legal. If you've never ridden the 'Borrowdale Bash' you've missed out on a classic route. Help make it legal, then make it one to ride this summer.

The big weekend is almost upon us!! The expo field has already started to spring up Marquees, the official road signs are out, and the course is having a final groom from Clixbys. The World Cup is coming to town.

So, you know when it is, what the course is like, and where to watch. Now the question is; who do you cheer for? This event features all the elite riders from around the world, just like you see at the Olympics. There are dominant forces in XC racing, just like Downhill, but you need to know who will be flying the red white and blue for us.

Welcome back to more World Cup Blogging. When it comes down to it, the event is really about one thing: Riding yer bike. There will be all manner of ways enjoy the weekend, but what better way than going and riding the course before the race? Well, just in case you dont know where to ride, Forestry Commission at Dalby have signposted the entire route. Just roll up at Dixons Hollow car park, and follow the signs.

By Jason Ashworth. What a day, what a turnout, arrived at 9 in the car park thinking i�d have a ride, no chance! Chris (Pook) was already there and Paul (second dig, glutton for punishment!) arrived so we were straight into it. Chris is a proffessional cameraman and had kindly agreed to shoot some promo stuff for us, so Si, Chase and TomdeB went off to re-enact Roam while we got stuck into some Rock moving (after a bit of the obligatory bike chat).

The build up to the World Cup is well and truly gaining momentum, the Pro Sprint eliminator being a major talking point as final adjustments have now being made to the urban street circuit in Pickering. The Eliminator brings a touch of 4-Cross style to the athlete�s weekend, putting four riders at a time around the one kilometre course, which uses many natural trail features from Pickering including a residents garden and a Cemetery!
