Wharncliffe Weekender 2008 Receiving Global Attention

The annual cross country mountain bike event, held in Sheffield has received interest from every continent of the world. The charity event, which raises money for the Weston Park Cancer Appeal Fund is hosted by 3 times downhill world cup mountain bike champion, Steve Peat in his local training grounds of Wharncliffe Woods. In the past 2 years, the event has raised £15,500 for the charity and this year, the management team are hoping to double this total.

This week/month, I was approach by a nice chap by the name of David who has given us a heads up about a new dvd coming out by The Collective. As part of this new release they are doing some special screenings in various cinemas around the UK. Looks a pretty good dvd and David asked nicely so here's some info if you are like me and like to watch Biking dvd's, and I like anything that promotes MTB in general.
