which car park is 'Stainburn Moor' I was looking at an OS map and I think I'd though this car park was the one up the hill (easily riseable and makes a lot of sense.), near the mast, but on the map it appears to the be the one half a mile to the east... out of interest which one are the council and forestry referring to?

Stainburn car park is over the top and about a mile from the main car park!! I think,,,

My understanding is the council are concerned about people on bikes near the road on the main car park we all use when crossing to Norwood.
I also believe concerns have been raised because of people hanging about near or on the road at the top of the descent line. This doesn't surprise me as I have seen people take a run up down the road to go over the aggregate stock pile!!

hmmmm. Interesting, I thought it might be...

Concern about DL doesn't surprise me though but i haven't seen people do that. Only way to stop it would be fence it off, and put a trail head in off the Red i suppose...

FC may look at building a fence but for now I want it clear so we can continue to get aggregate delivered to that point rather than work everything from the carpark
