Usual drill meeting in the car park at 9:30 or out on the trails a little later.
Bring some food and drink, gloves and boots etc we have most tools but feel free to bring your own favourite spade.

We should be working on a new alternative line below the boulder on the descent line and also planning and gathering materials for future changes to the middle section of the DL.

If the weather isn't so great we will move onto the black and give the trail some long overdue TLC

Made a great start on the alternative line below the boulder today so we will continue with this.
Also want to get a little more work done on the drop off line.
And also the jump in the tree's on the DL and maybe even the red.

And as always if the weather sucks we will try keep in the shelter of the trees

Big thank you to all that turned out today even had a few new faces.
As we hadn't expected a big turnout we started by doing some work on the new drop off line and as a few more people turned up a start was made on the catch berm, as it stands the drops are built, the run in surfaced and the berm constructed, even some more fill has been added to the landing zone.
Please do not attempt to ride the drop while it may look like much of the surface is in place the top is quite unstable and needs time to settle. Also the berm hasnt been competed so doesn't connect up yet. The whole line is waiting to be surfaced with limestone and till this is done and settled it will all be a little unstable.

Work also began on a new feature line near the end of the red return as an alternative to the little climb about 70m after the log ride. It should be much faster but also has a little more of a feature to it with the proposed name of snake bite!!

Its been proposed to run a second dig day this month on Sunday the 22nd, this will probably be the last double dig day for some time and will return to just the first Sunday of each month from May till October ish.

Aim of completing the drop off line (If a supply of aggregate is delivered in time) and the new alternative at the end of the red.
We will also be gathering rock for the new line below the boulder on the DL
Or if the weather is naff gathering rock for the jump in the trees on DL or clearing work on the black.
