mtb legend cedric gracia came to stainburn last night for a what mtb photo shoot. lovely sunny evening (if a little windy), lots of riders out and the uber cool frenchy on hand to amaze all who wanted to see how easy it is, AS IF !!

There was a rumour going round that he was coming, I couldn't get up to Stainburn last night unfortunately.

It's true he was up there last night, arrived just in time to see him loading his bike in the MBUK van :roll: .

Still had an excellent fast dry ride around Norwood, bit too dusty in places :shock:
Also the pump track is working well managed 10 laps either way on the full suss which i was chuffed with never managed to get around on the susser before :D looked like it had been swept which seemed to really help.

bit too dusty in places pjay? we'll have that over too muddy/windy/wet /rainy hey mate :smt002. anyhow, that gracia is just too damn good, ive never seen anyone jump a boulder whilst riding up hill !!

yup :D battled the head wind up from Beckwithshaw, Guy was on the Moonglu Nicolai...he did his pics with ced :wink: we blatted round stainburn and then cycled back to town via a couple of watering holes, a major off for me on the valley gardens crazy golf course :oops: and down to the restaurant for tea whilst guy asked the main man lots of questions

a thoroughly enjoyable eveing :D

Only decided to go at 8.30 pm for an hours spin, after i got the kids to sleep. So didn't have time to ring around everybody,

and it saved you a journey as you would only have forgotten your bike or head or something :wink:

we didnt get chance to take him round as he was on a photo shoot with Guy for MBUK...we mainly played about on the black and went up hill more than we went down :? :D

In this months MBUK. Stainburn gets a couple of mentions, but it's nothing worth buying the mag for, though it might be Stainburns first cover shot.
