Usual drill meeting in the car park at 9:30 or out on the trails a little later.
Bring some food and drink, gloves and boots etc we have most tools but feel free to bring your own favourite spade.

Aim of completing the drop off line (If a supply of aggregate is delivered in time) and the new alternative at the end of the red.
We will also be gathering rock for the new line below the boulder on the DL
Or if the weather is naff gathering rock for the jump in the trees on DL or clearing work on the black.

We have had 12 tonne of aggregate delivered today so we can hopefully finish off a few projects.

Plan to start with the section we cut and started rocking last dig day (working name of snakebite). Needs a few sections digging out a little more and then some pipe and rocking. Rock is nearby and the hard part is already done so that should be fairly quick win and then surface, again its not a long section.

Second will be to add a short section next to the log ride again rock is nearby and won't take long to clear etc.

Third although may happen throughout the day is to surface the new drop off line concentrating on the landing slope and berm so this has time to settle.

Don't think we will get to it but fourth would be to get more rock for the line below the boulder started last month.

If all goes to plan we will have around 40tonne of material delivered and stock piled on the hillside for the May dig day so we can complete the line below the boulder and repairs/alterations to the DL and climb much faster, hence why I would like to cross off as many of the half sorted projects as possible on Sunday.

Top day and thank you to everybody, we checked off the top three jobs on the list.
Cut, rocked and surfaced a new very red grade line between the log ride and the tricky rock bridge on the red return.
Finished cutting, finished rocking and surfaced the new line to alter the iccle up slope again on the red return
And put surface material down on the drop off line between the red return and out.

Please be aware we have blocked off the last two sections as they need to time to settle the aggregate is very soft and will rip up if people ride the sections so please keep clear and let people know to stay off. I know its very tempting and a LOT of people want to play on the new drop but it will just cause damage and we won't ever get it quite right.

Back up to the woods on the Sunday 6th may when we will return to the section we started below the boulder on the descent line as we should have material handy by then so we can finish off another section and plan alterations and repairs to the rest of the DL.
