Hi

I'm sure you have all notice the forum traffic has dropped off significantly and other than the rides board very few people post or respond to anything.

Just trying to decide of its still worth posting on here and facebook as most people just use FB now.

So please respond to this post if you still watch the forum for updates etc.

Whilst I don't use the forum as much as I did, I do think dig day dates etc should still be posted here as well as facebook, as not everyone is on facebook or uses it that often.

Still a user albeit an occassional poster.

FB blocked for lots of people via work.

Personally I'd keep it and keep it updated, but that's easy for me to say 8)

Mark FB may be evil but much easier being fed info than having to scour several forums etc. It has its uses and most forums are dying off because of it.

I intend to keep posting about dig days its more everything else. We could change the forum to have a trailbuilding and rides section and then list all others below.

Still looking here. I tend to totally bypass anything posted on FaceBook. Whilst I look at FB every other day or so, if you miss a couple of days it's dead easy to miss stuff unless you trawl back through two days worth of people posting pictures of their f'ing tea.

I love Facebook for keeping in touch with my friends. I hate it for trying to keep up with Singletraction.

The forum is a nice, stable place for info. Facebook is an ever shifting, temporary mess. Timeline, BOO!

:?

But I accept that both have their place.

Im just wondering since most of the boards get very little use about shifting round a little.

Go for it, you've done a great job of the website.

As for Facebook, it's a classic chicken or egg thing. I still come to the website to find out about important stuff and to check the forums.

Thats kinda the thing only gets used for two things now so may ask Boydie to set up a board for volunteer trailbuilding (all sites) and move the rides board up.

So
Trailbuilding
Ride
Rights of way
Bike talk
Photos

General - rest of boards

That was most used are at the top

Thoughts??
